Re: Is there an Unpack tool for 2012 ?

Hey Imortal, Yes, there is an Unpack tool wich works with CXL 2012. In fact, both the PackUnpack and Oceanos' tools work for it, since the code didn't change that much from '11 to '12. Here's an useful link if this is your first time modding Cities XL: http://citiesxl.wikia.com/wiki/Cities_XL_Moddin...

Re: a question about buying the game

I would think..... no. But why do you want to activate it on Steam? So you could re-download? If that's the case, just buy it on Steam..... they always have lightning offers anyway, so chances are you'll get it cheaper there. I've found it much easier to just download it outside Steam, then burn it ...

Re: Is there a Patch or update to Cities XL 2012

On the other hand modding is booming :) Not only have we provided fixes for the bugs FHI let in, but we've made considerable upgrades to the game :)

Re: Seriously what's up with these metros!? and other compla

Have you ever heard of the foundation? Tall buildings have very deep foundations, as do bridges. That's why you can't build metro right under them. However, if you hold shift and drag your mouse down, you'll be able to lower the level that you're building your metro on, so it'll work. Now calm down...

Re: To Everybody that likes and cares about Cities XL

Well, it certainly won't hurt to at least try. If nothing else, indeed it'll show that there are still people that 'care' about CXL :)

Re: How do you do this?

Try to sink the bridge to ground level first (the mouse yellow box should appear half-sunk into the ground), then connect it to the road.

Re: To Everybody that likes and cares about Cities XL

Yeah, it's sad that a fansite has a more dynamic life than the official site of the game. Unfortunately, I agree that Focus' Public Relations are to a great degree to blame for that....

Re: New SimCity on it's way

Wow, it's so enlightening trying to argue with you guys..... you get a fresh idea on exactly how prejudices could affect people :) Did you bother to try even one of the mods I was talking about? I guess you'll all yell me down by saying the precious FHI patch will render all of them useless, and tha...

Re: New SimCity on it's way

O really? Are they so limited? Then could you please explain how modders could not only fix most of the bugs in the game (buildings not functioning, graphic glitches, text problems, etc.), but also add new fully functional transport networks, new way of building highways with every manner of exits y...

Re: New SimCity on it's way

Hehehe, It's amuzing to watch how you feed each other's anger :) And this self-righteous FHI bashing..... I don't suppose any of you has bothered checking the modding communities? I though not. And there's where you should check.... It's not that FHI has started caring more about the game (unfortuna...
