As a silent player of the game, I just got a notice about this new release. I have to agree with most here... moddeling and selling that as an expansion is fine, not fixing core issues with a software engineer is not. I know if my software was released in this state I would loose my job, sorry but I am with the rest. As again someone who rarly post here, I will have to pass. If the company can't find core engineers to fix their issues, then the game is indeed dead. Simple as that, you might get some randoms and unknowingly blind buyers, but I guess for a few weeks of moddeling that pays off. Personally, if the company actually came out with a vital product in the citiesXL they would have the next simcity franchise, till that time it will end up in the pile of known titles that just revamp a name and add graphics.

Me too. I have to say that I really enjoy this game and I would love to carry on playing it. I say I would love to carry on playing but cannot becasue of the lag issue. I decided to give up and see if there will ever be a fix before playing again. So when I read on steam that cities xl 2012 was coming out, I thought great, I'll be able to play again. I am disappointed that no mention of any fixes for bugs will be made. Can anyone from the Focus team (not moderaters as I want to hear it from the horse's mouth) confirm this please. From reading the posts it was the 16th September that Vince replied to some questions. So Vince, any chance you can let us know?

Like I said before, this is a great game but if no fixes then no play.

I think some people wanted a game that supports multicore which in this day and time is appropriate. Single core is extinct and it is unfortunate this this game does not. Yes, it is a good game but not great. People did not just want more buildings thrown in, they wanted real fixes not cosmetic changes. I would have waited if there were going to be multicore support,b ut there will be none. So sad.

Any chance of a point in the right direction as I cannot see any comments made buy Vince stating about bug fixes? I've done a search on Vince's comments and still nothing :?

Sorry, nothing about bug fixes. Actually there weren't any too obvious ones in the beta I played.

Just curious. Have you reported any new bugs? Honestly, as far as I know, you haven't access to the modding tools. What's here to betatest on the new buildings ? (O_O)
