One suggestion - Focus should employ and work with the NEXL Team to build and further develop the NEXL mod into a fully tested and stable game expansion pack packed full on new features. Hell I would pay for a decent expansion like this if it was an official stable release full of new game game play features etc.

That would be awesome :) I'd pay for it as well :P

Interesting trailer, but I'm not seeing anything new in it other than a few maps and a couple buildings. I probably shouldn't have expected much else, but including more new buildings would have been nice.

I think they were mostly trying to show off the new maps in the trailer. I'm sure there are many new buildings in it, but we need to watch more closely to spot them.

No skiers on slopes, sorry. What you saw was the "Funpark" building you can place.
The train you saw is already included in Cities XL 2011, for anyone who hasn't noticed.

Haters gonna hate...

Nothing impressive, but then again we knew all along this isn't going to be.

Soo I guess there must be clouds now as they zoom in trough clouds like 4 times in the trailer, or do we get tricked again?

It is a video. The clouds are artwork, but I thought that would be absolutely clear. You can't blame them for everything they do.

Info on the mod kit would be great.

The ability to enjoy third party maps without destroying any in-game maps would also be great.

I paid for the expansion, I'm looking forward to the NEXL.

I'll poke around with CXL 2012 over the weekend. Part of my, "Learning to lower my standards" education.
