Please note that there is no update. The updater may be informing you that there is, please just continue to click 'update later' if you are still using the application.

I will not give any time frames as I obviously have a pretty hectic life ATM. However work has been done on the application to bring it up to date with the community. So id just say to look out in the next week or two ... my apologies all around, but life calls. I can say however, that it will now detect files within a certain directory, so it wont matter if the mod is supported or not :-)

Also i find it funny that the feedback form is being used for spam. seriously? the program has cleaned out over 800 fake messages using that means of communication. Does anybody have a life? haha. Well its a good thing it gets filtered automatically, but still, pretty funny imo. :ugeek:

@citiesxleurocat ~ a solution to that problem is:
1.Look for the ID number of the file (For ex. the Id number of the "Bulldozer Modification" by "itsthemuffinman" is 81923039)
2.Go to the "Plaza Libs" folder created during installation (It should be in the Cities XL 2011 install directory)
3.Copy the file with the same ID number into the "Paks folder" (in my case it was 81923039.patch)
4.It should work. I used the Bulldozer Modification as a testing example.
5.Enjoy ;)

Do you mean that for games that have been updated with the february patch Plaza XL should be used? So Plaza XL supersedes 2011 Modification Manager for the latest version of the game.

I just read the headline a few times and wasn't sure which one I should use!

So many of you know I was getting ready to release a new version, and with the news of 2012 coming soon.... to get it up to date and ready for yet another possible move over.

I had a reformat on my main cities computer...with it went my serial number. My emails don't seem to have a record of my purchase, and contact with focus has turned up no trace of my game! So now I am stuck with the game installed but being unable to get pass the serial number screen. I know I could crack it... but I am developing something that requires integration and would not like to have un-standard files present... in addition I want my discount when 2012 comes.

I honestly don't know what to do. I don't want to, but i'm about to fork over the money ... AGAIN ... to buy the game haha. this time at full price because my 2009 serial confirms that its been used to buy the game.... haha.

Hope everyone in the community is well.

After installing ver 1.4 and trying to run the manager I first get a "cannot connect to the data base" then a second window saying the application must shut down. I get this on every verison.

Thanks :(

I have exactly the same problem.

I have installed, via steam: Cities XL 2011, then downloaded the update to 2012 and have Windows 7, 64bit.

Popup 1 says: Cannot connect to database
Popup 2 says: An exception of class NilObjectException was not handled. The application must shut down.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I love cities XL, and would really love to use some mods, think I will install them manually for now. :)

Hi! I'm running Cities XL on my Mac, and I really want the Realistic Highway Mod! I can't figure out how to add mods to my Mac though. I followed the steps on other guides by putting the RHM2exe file in the "Paks" folder. But nothing ever happened. Will this program you have fix this? Also, where do I install this program to.

Thanks much.
