calling for modders to help fix issues and add multiplayer

hello!

i'm creating this post to ask that you considering joining me to once and for all fix the issues and add back multiplayer support.

here is my very recent post asking the general modding community for help

Good news:
It should be possible without spending too much time :) (but too much for me alone maybe)

I would say (from my view):
14-21 days (1 person; full work) "with" a workaround solution and "hook" your own code to handle that.
Otherwise it will take longer "without" workaround (so try to reactivate some code from first (2009er) version and write only your own code, if there is no other way to do that (some methods from libraries are blackbox-like, it seems)).

After that ... you must spend the most time into your own server. So these 14-21 days means only: Cities XL - "Multiplayer Ready" on client side(you could do it in 1-3 days but I guess only a small subset of all multiplayer-possibilities).

Server:
  • backend: built database and handle queries (profiles,cityuploads, trading informations, ... friends) and check all that with your own server-game-logic.
  • frontend: own webpage maybe

If there exists already some CXL-Online solutions I would like to check DB-Schema or something of your sourcecode (easy code, design, patterns, ...).

Just for information about my work:

Last night I spent ~4h for analyzing & coding and some other stuff. As an extreme small step toward to multiplayer gaming I was able to send network-data (from ingame). :D
