[wip] cities xl platinum exhanced mod

the cities xl platinum enhanced mod features

this mods will feature

+ will remember your preferences

++ what panel and menus you where showing or hiding and other game
and map specific options like expert mode, like whether all builders
were unlocked, ect that you may have chosen

+ add full sandbox mode gameplay

++ basically we would like to add a game mode where you dont have to worry about anything, where everything is unlocked, you can use the game as more of an editor or painter to create the city you always wanted without all that game logic or limits or restrictions getting in you way.

status:

the mod is presently in develpment, i basically know what to do and all i am doing learning where i need to make the changes.

the plan is to release the mod as features are implemented. so for
example as soon as i have the view panel working the way u want and the
game remembering whether or not i wanted it displayed i will put out a
release.

finally, this mod may or maynot be compatible with other mods and
with other versions of the game. i just making sure it runs with cities
xl platinum. so if you would like the game to remember your preferences
and eventually if you would like to play sandbox game i encourage you to
wait for the feature to be fully implemented and debugged and then
upgrade to cities xl platinum, since that is where all the effort will
be made.

the release just adds code for the game to remember whether the view options panel was opened or closed.

in the future i will be adding code to remember
+ the last location the views options panel was moved to
+ whether the menu on the left hand side was opened or closed
+ whether the menu on the right hand side was opened or closed
+ whether the notification panel on top was opened or closed
+ other user interface preferences that the game presently does not remember
+ and other user preferences that the game presently does not remember
+ will look at splitting save and load functionality into different dialogs and having different menu buttons
+ also look into whether view options panel could be hidden when popup dialogs are displayed or at least moved behind them
+ do above for tutorial mode

i could not release it on xlnation website because the submission form does not allow me at present to specify compatibility with cities xl platinum and because i kept getting a server side exception when i tried to attach the specified patch file.

I'm looking forward to using this mod. Has it been configured so I can freely build my own city yet?
