Highway/Avenue Turns

I wonder why there aren't any traffic accidents in the Cities XL games?
Example; Vehicles in the right lane make left turns in front of left lane traffic and the vehicles in the left lane make right turns in from of the right lane traffic.
Do that on any road that I've traveled on and big fender benders.
