Cities XL 2012 unveils new images!

Cities XL 2012 today unveiled a series of 5 exclusive screenshots! This new edition of the famous City Builder for PC enriches itself with several hundred new buildings, all while adding numerous brand new, highly detailed constructible maps!

The 5 screenshots revealed today lead you to discover some of these new buildings, allowing for the creation of truly unique cities. There is a total of nearly 1000 buildings and unique constructions offered in the game, as well as more than 60 constructable maps... all you need to build and shape the cities of your dreams down to the slightest detail!

Did you know I was actually affraid of looking at those 5 new pictures because I was sure to be dissapointed when I did?

Well I did look at them and I'm dissapointed. :P

I appreciate FHI for bringing an update but making us wait so long for a new update and then coming up with showing 5 screenshots where we can see like 5 new buildings is a real dissapointment for me.

I'm sure what me and all the fans we're hoping for was an update about new or improved features with text and images or even a guided video.

Can you (FHI) please inform us why you only showed these screenshots (which honestly could have been posted 4 weeks ago as a little teaser) ?
Instead of providing us with a real update, I'm affraid I'm not alone when I say these kind of updates with large intervals inbetween set me off from buying CXL 2012.

This coming from a fan which is honestly hoping for CXL 2012 to be a big success!

I must say, I can't see why you're not showing us some screens of these supposed modding tools. I could understand that if they're still in development, but still, I think that's going to be the biggest new feature of this game. You're losing customers every day you don't show us something new or exciting about this game, and the only thing really new or exciting that I see in those five screens is about ten new buildings. That's it.

So, where is everything else? I don't expect a response, but I'd like to know that you guys (FHI) are going to make Cities XL 2012 a new and exciting sequel to the previous two games. And so far, I'm disappointed.

Maybe the user interface for the modding tools is not yet done. That's very plausible. Maybe their UI is still raw.

But I really can't see why they don't show us the hundreds of new buildings they claim they have. I suspect it's just 500 buildings (CXL11 had around that number) and the rest are only copies with snow on their roofs.

They need to make a "Cities XL 2011 vs. Cities XL 2012" video for me, because I want to see if they actually fixed memory leaks.

If not, I'm not buying.

seriously focus? you couldn't add all this in a cheaper expansion pack? now instead of getting a bunch of stuff that could very easily be included in a simple update i have to wait and pay for pretty much the exact same game ive been playing for a year with features that should have been included in 2011?!? heres an idea: stop F***ing with your customers!!!

There is about 300 new buildings, as CXL11 has 700 and CXL12 will have up to 1000 buildings. I assume a lot of the new ones are from the ski gem actualy.

We are going to be discounted. I guess that owners of previous game are getting 50% off. Even though, I'm not sure if it's worth it...

Guys come on, it's only screenshots! let's get some prespectives since none of us can predict the new features of Cities XL2012 before playing it.
