To much traffic on roads?

Hi. I just bought Cities XL 2012. And there is alot of red spots, on the traffic-thing. So i tried to create some more roads, but it doesn't help at all. How do I make it better?

In general: Build wider roads, don't make too many intersections on too short distance.
